END OF WORK (ARTMILE PROJECT 5)

It is sad, but we have finished the project and we had to say goodbye to our beautiful mural.

After months of working together with the Japanese students in Hyogo Prefectural Ashiya International Secondary School, after the artistic part of the project is done, we sent the mural to Ashiya. It was like sending a son or daughter: we were sad to say goodbye, but happy because it gave us wonderful moments.

The mural arrived just in time with great joy in the Japanese school. The students in Ashiya had time to enjoy it and learn from it just before the classes were suspended because of this Covid-19.

We hope all the Japanese students can go back to normal life as soon as possible and that they can have their graduation ceremony and enjoy together in the school.

DÍA DE ANDALUCÍA

Es verdad que el día de la Comunidad Andaluza cae en nuestra semana blanca, pero nosotros nos vamos de vacaciones habiendo realizado actividades para celebrarlo.

Por supuesto, nuestra biblioteca se ha vestido de blanco y verde, como los colores de la bandera andaluza.
El alumnado de 1º ESO participó en una actividad denominada "Andalucía en los libros", una competición de búsqueda de información sobre Andalucía en los libros de la biblioteca. Todo en equipo. Se lo pasaron estupendamente.

Hemos hecho una selección de libros de temática andaluza y han estado expuestos muy a la vista: poesía, geografía, historia, cultura, etc

Además hemos tenido una pequeña exposición de trípticos de muy diversos temas, todos andaluces: monumentos, personajes ilustres, museos, hechos históricos relevantes, recetas de cocina, …

Y la guinda del pastel fue el desayuno andaluz que nos ofreció el AMPA durante el recreo de día 19.
